Recognizing the challenges of finding qualified maritime personnel, French shipping giant CMA CGM has launched CMASHIPS.com — the company’s first global platform for recruiting seafarers.
CMASHIPS.com serves as an open gateway for seafarers worldwide, allowing them to apply for positions on CMA CGM vessels. The platform unites all agencies, subsidiaries, and partners involved in recruiting and managing over 13,000 crew members working across the company’s fleet.
The site features inspiring seafarer stories, video tours of life on board, and insights into career opportunities, helping future crew members gain a behind-the-scenes look at life at the heart of CMA CGM’s global shipping operations.
“This new site goes far beyond a simple recruitment platform — it opens the door to meaningful careers driven by dedication and international opportunities,” said Julien Loridon, Vice President of CMA SHIPS.
Additionally, CMA CGM actively promotes gender diversity through its She Sails program, which encourages and supports women pursuing maritime careers.
