On the afternoon of April 15, the fishing vessel ?Na 91009-TS sank in the South China Sea, approximately 4 nautical miles off the coast of Thang Truong (Da Nang, Vietnam).
The vessel suffered water ingress through a hull breach, which led to loss of stability.
Vietnamese authorities were quickly notified, and a patrol boat was dispatched to assist.
Upon arrival, rescuers evacuated two crew members, who were later safely transported ashore.
The vessel subsequently sank following the incident.
According to reports, no injuries were recorded.
