Brazilian company OceanPact, a specialist in offshore decommissioning services, has signed a contract worth more than BRL 1 billion (USD 188 million) with Trident Energy.
Project scope
The contract covers the dismantling of subsea infrastructure from production systems on platforms P-07, P-12, and P-15 in the Campos Basin. Work is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026 and is expected to last up to three years.
Resources and work phases

Deployment of ROV support vessels (RSVs) from OceanPact’s fleet.

Detailed engineering design and seabed mapping.

Removal of flexible pipelines and subsea equipment using ROVs.

Cutting and disconnection of subsea structures.
Environmental commitment
OceanPact will handle both offshore dismantling and onshore disposal, with a strong focus on recycling and promoting a circular economy.
