Golden Energy Offshore Services has completed another platform supply vessel divestment as it continues efforts to strengthen its balance sheet and liquidity.
The Norwegian owner said its subsidiary has agreed to sell the PSV Energy Partner for $27.25 million, with closing expected mid-February. The company expects an accounting gain of about $6.5 million and net proceeds of roughly $12.5 million after lease repayments, early-termination penalties, and transaction costs.
The sale comes shortly after last week’s agreement to sell PSV Energy Empress for $30 million to an undisclosed buyer. That deal is also expected to close in February and is forecast to generate net proceeds of around NOK 140 million (about $14 million) and an accounting gain of approximately $14.4 million.
Once both transactions are completed, Golden Energy will have sold two vessels for a combined ~NOK 560 million, with net cash inflow exceeding NOK 260 million. The company said the proceeds will support a stronger financial position.
Following the disposals, the fleet will consist of the MPSV Energy Duchess, PSVs Energy Paradise, Energy Passion, Energy Pace, and the PSV Energy Swan (built 2005). Several remaining vessels are sister ships to the units already sold.
The PSV sales follow a challenging period for the Oslo-listed owner. In its Q3 2025 results, Golden Energy said the board and management were evaluating options to improve liquidity. As part of that process, the company secured a $5 million short-term loan in December 2025 for urgent needs and raised $31.7 million through a private placement, largely used to clear overdue liabilities, pay wages and taxes, repay multiple short-term loans, and cover transaction costs, with a smaller portion retained for general corporate purposes.
