🌏 Global Port Operators to Invest in Bangladesh Shipping
💰Two of the world’s leading port operators – DP World (UAE) and A.P. Moller-Maersk (Denmark) – have announced their intention to invest in the development of Bangladesh’s shipping industry. The plans include the construction of new ports along the Bay of Bengal coast and the modernization of Chittagong Port.
The companies are also considering investments in container terminals, digitalization of customs procedures and decarbonization of ports. These projects are aimed at improving port efficiency and creating a regional logistics hub.
