1. Prelude FLN
🚢 Prelude FLNG is a floating natural gas liquefaction plant owned by Shell. The vessel is 488 meters long and 105 meters high, making it the longest vessel in the world. Prelude's displacement is about 600 thousand tons. The platform is equipped with three engines with a capacity of 6.7 thousand horsepower each. Prelude is currently located in the Indian Ocean, near Australia, and produces about 3.6 million tons of liquefied gas per year
2. Pioneering Spir
🚢 Pioneering Spirit — the world's largest construction ship, designed to transport offshore drilling platforms and lay pipelines underwater. The vessel is 382 meters long and 124 meters wide. Pioneering Spirit is capable of lifting and transporting structures weighing up to 48 thousand tons. It is actively used in the construction of offshore infrastructure, including participation in the Nord Stream 2 project.
3. Symphony of the Sea
🚢 Symphony of the Seas — the largest cruise liner in the world, owned by Royal Caribbean International. The ship is 361 meters long, 47 meters wide and 72.5 meters high. The liner can accommodate up to 6,680 passengers and 2,200 crew members. On board there are 16 guest decks, about 20 restaurants, 24 swimming pools, a water park, a basketball court and even an ice rink. Symphony of the Seas sails between major tourist destinations such as Spain, Mexico and Costa Rica.
These three vessels are outstanding examples of engineering excellence and demonstrate the capabilities of the modern shipbuilding industry.
