On 11 November in Nansha, Guangzhou (China), a naming ceremony was held for a new large PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carrier). The delivery of this vessel marks the completion of a seven-ship series ordered by South Korean shipping company H-Line Shipping.
The new vessel, Glovis Trinity, is an 8,600-CEU car carrier built at CSSC Guangzhou Shipyard International. It is part of H-Line Shipping’s order comprising four vessels with 7,000 CEU capacity and three vessels with 8,600 CEU capacity. All seven ships are owned by H-Line and operated by Glovis.
Sailing under the flag of Liberia, Glovis Trinity measures 200 meters in length and 38 meters in beam. The vessel is equipped with a dual-fuel propulsion system capable of running on LNG as well as conventional marine fuel.
It also features a range of advanced technologies, including:

waste-heat recovery systems.
These integrated solutions help reduce emissions and enable the vessel to comply with stringent IMO Tier III environmental standards.
