⚓️Canadian shipbuilding company Chantier Davie Canada has been awarded a contract to build the heavy Arctic icebreaker Polar Max for the Canadian government
Construction will begin in 2025, and the vessel is scheduled for delivery by 2030. To implement the project, the company is using the experience of the Finnish Helsinki Shipyard, which it acquired in 2023.
