German company RWE has laid off some of its US offshore wind workforce after President Donald Trump launched a crackdown on the industry
RWE employs around 1,500 people in the US, and its offshore wind business is based in the company's Boston office
In a regulatory filing, RWE Offshore Wind Services, the company's US subsidiary, said it would reduce its workforce in the Boston area by May 6. The filing revealed the plan to lay off 73 employees.
