Louisiana-based Otto Candies, LLC has significantly expanded its presence in offshore operations by acquiring four multi-purpose support vessels (MPSVs) from Harvey Gulf International Marine.
The Harvey Blue-Sea, Harvey Sub-Sea, Harvey Deep-Sea, and Harvey Intervention officially joined the Otto Candies fleet on Thursday. According to the company, the acquisition marks “an important step forward in the continuous growth of Otto Candies, LLC and reinforces our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the offshore energy industry.”
All four vessels are equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning and provide enhanced subsea support capabilities:

Harvey Intervention — built by Eastern Shipbuilding in 2012, 300 ft length, 5,378 dwt. Jones Act compliant and suited for IRM operations, survey work, and light construction tasks at depths up to 3,000 meters.

Harvey Deep-Sea — delivered in 2013, 310 ft (91.5 m) length, 4,506 dwt, with a strong track record in multi-role offshore operations.

Harvey Blue-Sea and Harvey Sub-Sea — both DP2 vessels measuring 340 ft in length and 5,737 dwt. Built by Eastern Shipbuilding and delivered to Harvey Gulf in 2017.
Otto Candies stated that each MPSV brings proven subsea performance and operational versatility that aligns with the company’s mission to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient marine services.
