🌬Bound4Blue has installed four of the world’s largest suction sails, measuring 26 metres high, on the Atlantic Orchard tanker. They are wind-powered and can reduce fuel consumption by up to 10%
The vessel is owned by Swedish company Wisby Tankers and transports fruit juices. The installation took place in Spain during a technical inspection. This is the first time such large sails have been used in commercial shipping.
