🗺MSC is transferring large Megamax-class container ships from Asia-Northern Europe routes to destinations to ports in the Mediterranean and West Africa. This decision is due to the fall in freight rates on the Northern European route and the desire to reduce supply in this market
🚢Container ships with a capacity of 19-24 thousand TEU will be replaced by ships with a capacity of approximately 15 thousand TEU. MSC operates independently after leaving carrier alliances.
