CMA CGM Mermaid runs aground in Muuga Port, Gulf of Finland
On the morning of September 8, the containership CMA CGM Mermaid (IMO: 9961283), 204 meters long with a deadweight of 31,114 tons, ran aground in Muuga Port, Estonia, located in the Gulf of Finland.

The vessel was completing a voyage from Kotka (Finland) to Muuga and was approaching the container terminal when, for reasons yet unknown, it struck the berth with its bow.
