Fugro has secured a contract to conduct a comprehensive site survey program for Eni’s deepwater gas development project in the Eastern Mediterranean.
This project marks a significant campaign for Fugro in the region, supporting the Republic of Cyprus’s ambition to become a regional gas producer and exporter while enhancing energy security and accessibility for Europe.
As part of the project, Fugro will leverage its extensive expertise in marine and deepwater geophysics, geotechnical services, and environmental studies. The award reflects Fugro’s deep understanding of the region’s surface and subsurface characteristics and its long-standing partnership with the client.
Geodata acquisition is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2025.
