⚖️The Kherson City Court sentenced in absentia Mykola Kharitonov, the former head of the port fleet of the Kherson Sea Port, to 12 years in prison. During the occupation, he held the same position under the leadership of the invaders and facilitated their military operations
Kharitonov organized the maintenance of ships, controlled the movement of stolen vessels and directed their use for the construction of a pontoon crossing across the Dnieper. He ensured the delivery and repair of barges, and also coordinated the actions of tugboats for the construction of the crossing in Antonivka.
⛓The court found him guilty of aiding the aggressor state and sentenced him to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
