The CMA CGM Iron, a container ship powered by a dual-fuel methanol engine, made its maiden call at the Port of Singapore on March 4. It is the first ship in a series of 12 environmentally friendly 13,000 TEU container ships being built in South Korea.
The CMA CGM Iron will operate between ports in Asia and the Middle East. The remaining ships in the series are scheduled to enter service by 2025.
