Copenhagen-based Cadeler has signed a contract with an undisclosed client to perform work on a new vessel to install wind turbines at an offshore wind farm in the US. This will be the first assignment for the new P-class vessel, Wind Pace, following its expected delivery. Work will commence in the second quarter of 2025 and continue through the first quarter of 2026.
The contract is expected to be worth between $69 million and $77.9 million. This is Cadeler’s second project in US waters.
