MV, currently working with NaviBulgar. The company operates about 22–27 bulk carriers (Panamax, Handysize, Lakers) and is building 7 new Lakers. They also have tankers and passenger vessels, but I have no detailed information about them.
They are actively recruiting Ukrainian seafarers regardless of age (including 60+). Top 4 positions are mainly Bulgarian, while other ranks are filled by crew from Ukraine, Myanmar, and Angola. I do not know which Ukrainian crewing agencies they cooperate with, as I passed my interview and tests directly at their office in Varna.
Paperwork in the company is minimal. Supplies and services are arranged on time, without delays. Salaries are paid regularly on the 19th of each month.
Vessel: Built in 2007. Although not new, the ship is in good technical condition, well maintained, with reliable machinery and comfortable living conditions.
One downside: vessels may call at Russian ports, and Ukrainian crew are signed off in such cases. However, they are given priority and usually join another vessel within 5–14 days.
