Vessel Details:

・A 35m private motor yacht is recruiting for an experienced Captain to join within the next two to three weeks.
・The yacht operates a private Mediterranean programme with seven crew onboard.
・An excellent opportunity to take command of a privately operated yacht, working closely with the owners and an established management company.

Position Overview:

・The Captain will oversee navigation, safety, crew management, maintenance, budgets and daily yacht operations.
・The owners are looking for someone personable, approachable and positive, with a good sense of humour and a relaxed but professional leadership style.
・Building a strong relationship with the owners and their family is essential, alongside respecting their privacy and adapting to cruising plans.
・The role requires hands-on leadership, good communication and close cooperation with the yacht’s management company.

Requirements:

・Previous command experience onboard private motor yachts of a similar size.
・Master 500 ticket or higher preferred.
・Valid Schengen visaEuropean passport required.
・Strong leadership, crew management, maintenance and budgeting experience.
・Personable, professional and genuinely invested in crew welfare.
・Good longevity in previous positions preferred.
・Salary: Good monthly salary (USD).
・Start date: Within two to three weeks (TBC).
