Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Poland Michal Kolodziejczak proposed to create its own grain port in Ukraine to improve the export of Polish and European grain. According to him, this will help reduce logistics costs and expand trade ties with African countries
“Why don’t we, Poles, discuss with the Ukrainian side the possibility of renting or buying a berth, for example, in Odessa, for a period of 50 years? A Polish grain port could operate there, where Polish and European grain would be delivered,” Kolodziejczak said, noting that he has not yet heard any specific proposals, but considers the initiative promising.
