Neptune Marine has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Spanish offshore owner and operator Zumaia Offshore to build a new multi-purpose support vessel.
The new DP2 vessel will be named Saskia B and will measure 59 metres in length and 18 metres in beam. It will strengthen Zumaia Offshore’s current fleet, which consists of two vessels: the hybrid DP2 multi-purpose support vessel Nora B and the DP2 multi-purpose support vessel Bertha B.
Neptune Marine recently secured another offshore newbuild order as well—a methanol-fuelled cable-laying vessel for its sister company N-Sea—highlighting an active pipeline of projects in the sector.
Delivery of Saskia B to the Netherlands is planned for Q4 2025, followed by installation and commissioning in Q2 2026.
