Greek offshore vessel owner Capital Offshore has acquired a 50% stake in the German company United Offshore Support (UOS), which specializes in OSV management, from investment fund Hayfin Capital Management.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals. Once completed, the company will be renamed UOS Capital.
The fleet owned by Capital Offshore, supported by Evangelos Marinakis, will come under the management of UOS Capital. In addition, new platform supply vessels (PSVs) currently under construction for Capital Offshore will gradually join the fleet as they are delivered in 2026 and 2027.
Upon completion of all deliveries, UOS Capital will operate a combined fleet of more than 30 offshore vessels — including anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, PSVs, and subsea support units — providing full technical, crewing, and commercial management services.
According to Andreas Poulsen, Managing Director and Head of Shipping at Hayfin:
“The joint venture with Capital Offshore will allow both companies to leverage their highly complementary offerings, creating a vessel management platform with strong potential for further growth and value creation.”
