I worked on the BOS PRIME as an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO).

Technically, the vessel is relatively simple and straightforward — manageable and without major issues. At the moment, the vessel is operating offshore Angola.

My main tasks were focused on calibrating and adjusting various equipment, such as pressure switches and timer relays. Since the vessel had been operating for a long time without an ETO on board, a large backlog of technical tasks had accumulated over time.

Internet is available on board via Starlink, limited to 1GB per day. The food is not great, but acceptable. The crew is mixed — Ukrainians, Russians, Filipinos, and Angolans.

Overall, it was a solid experience, especially for those who are comfortable working independently and resolving accumulated technical issues.
